Quickblog: Blog security! – Kiev? Really?

Security of a blog is important, and on my blog I go to strong measures to prevent people from gaining access.

That level of measurement includes failed logon attempts blockouts, ip whitelisting and blacklisting, as well as notifications by text when malicious attempts occur on increase.

It also includes public posting of malicious attempts, source IP Addresses, user accounts attempted and geo-location of the source IP trying to get into my blog. Currently on the rise: Kiev, Ukraine.
